     The author of Revelation is John who had been persecuted and was placed on a remote island, basically to silence him. But as Joseph once said, “what was meant for evil, God meant for good”, John became one of the most profound voices. This is revealed in the very first verse, the greatest HOPE of all, the Revelation of Jesus Christ. From this precious book all scripture is tied together, and this is the only book that pronounces a special blessing for those who read it and listen intently. It has letters to seven active churches during that time-period but also speaks to the Churches of our day. There is great imagery of heaven and the one who is seated on the Thorn, our Lord Jesus Christ. The book unfolds with a pattern of earthly scenes and the Heavenly realm in great contrast. I recommend all believers do a deep dive study in Revelation for it is life changing. The book of Revelation reveals what is on the horizon, as adopted children of God for it is glorious, but for non-believers such great judgments will come upon the earth. He truly has prepared a place for us and as our time on earth is limited; our time in the presence of the Lord is eternal. Words can never express such great Glory for he is the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, the Prince of Peace for now and forever. Amen!
