Isaiah through Daniel
Jesus Christ is our great redeemer who died on the Cross once and for all, shedding his blood to bring us Life eternal. We are adopted into God’s family through Faith and turning away from our sinful ways.
Jeremiah’s prophecy came down hard on the rebellious Nation with devastating results. Israel was exiled and the cities destroyed. And once again they were enslaved by foreign powers. God is always just in his judgments and the heavy consequences delivered. For this was God’s chosen people that had turned away from him. We must take heed as we live in this time of a New Covenant, given to us through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.
In Lamentations the prophet acknowledges that our Lords mercies are endless and his Love for us never fails. He has mercy for us when we kneel before his throne. Each day is a new day, for he first Loved us. He is a Faithful God in all his ways.
God pronounced through Ezekiel that his name is Holy above all, and the Nation of Israel has and will experience his awesome presence. For we read that in the end times, every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord overall.
Danial speaks of the Power and Glory of the one on High. He rules over all aspects of his creation, in every realm of mankind. God’s will takes priority overall, and he blesses who he pleases. Under the New Covenant, for those who believe on him as Lord and Savoir, we will experience new HOPE through power of the Holy Spirit.
